Politicians fiddle while Thanet rots

I read the papers, I watch the news,I even read the blogs, sad to see how  weird things have become or maybe it's how it's always been.

Thanet councillors fight and squabble over trivia, Labour's main achievements over the last year apart from focusing we the public s attention on the abysmal leadership seem to have indulged God knows how much time on sexual politics, as if apart from a handful of excitable councillors anyone gives a toss.

Oh, and as if that is not enough Labour have agreed to allow low paid staff, to receive a pay cut and all of us to pay more in council tax to allow pay increases to council fat cats, well done Clive!
